The BFA wrote to Tsa Gae (Pty) Ltd, trading as All Kasi, at the beginning of the month, indicating the termination of the contract. The two parties had signed a deal in September for Tsa Gae to provide kits to the national teams but the relationship was short-lived. Tsa Gae took the matter to court challenging the contract termination but the case was dismissed on the application for urgency. The case is before the courts for arbitration. Whilst the BFA cut the deal short, yesterday the association's chief executive officer, Mfolo Mfolo confirmed the Zebras will use the All Kasi strip at the regional tournament.

However, he said there were no discussions with Tsa Gae over the decision to use their branded kits. 'Nothing has changed in terms of contract termination and about the High Court judgment,' Mfolo said. Tsa Gae director, Ludo Kemoeng told MmegiSport he could not offer a comment on the issue. 'I can't speak on the matter as per the advice of our legal advisor,' Kemoeng said. However, reports are that BFA's decision to proceed with using All Kasi apparel had taken the clothing company by surprise. 'There was no communication about the use of the kit and I understand the company was taken aback by this decision,' a source said. In the termination letter to Tsa Gae, BFA argued there had been a breach of contract as the company had failed to remit five percent royalties to the association, amongst others.

In response, All Kasi argued that the decision was vague on the specific reasons of termination, and that the company was never given any notice of any specific breach to the contract. This resulted in Tsa Gae dragging the BFA to court.
