Woman dies in road mishap

The accident occurred Saturday night around 10:50pm along the Kanye–Moshupa road near Polokwe, police said.
Southern Divisional Traffic Officer, Assistant Commissioner Boiki Mojalemotho said the deceased aged 29, who was alone in the car, was driving from the Kanye side towards Moshupa when the accident occurred.
'She had sustained multiple head injuries and was certified dead on arrival at Moshupa clinic by the doctors.
'We don't know what caused the accident but we suspect that she might have lost control of the vehicle resulting in an accident that claimed her life, but investigations into the matter are ongoing to establish what really transpired,' he said.
Mojalemotho implored motorists to pay attention when driving, stating that a little distraction when driving can be deadly.
