Mouti crowned Mrs Botswana 2025 queen

Mouti's sweat and hardwork finally paid off when she was crowned this year's queen. She did not just win the title but also took home the Best GBV award and Child Protection Project. Furthermore, she won the Best Couple Talent award that she shared with her husband. During the Botswana My Pride parade where contestants showcased different tourism aspects of this country, she wore a beautiful dress, laced with a white top and multi-coloured lower part showcasing the wildlife and tourism sector. Her purple lacy dress was also intriguing.

On the other hand, Neelo Nthobatsang also captured the judges' hearts with her beautiful presentation. Nthobatsang was crowned the first princess, a step closer to the queen. During the My Botswana My Pride parade, she wore a white flower like dress which she said showcased the Okavango Delta. For her evening gown parade, unlike the rest of the contestants, she opted to make a stunning dress with African print materials. It was blended with a few modern ornaments making it even more stunning.

Meanwhile, Gofiwa Masima who also scooped a couple of awards was named the second princess. She also won the Best Dress and Business Woman of the Year awards. Kakgotso Pelonomi and Godiraone Tshome scooped the third and fourth runners- up titles respectively. They also took home a few more awards.

Other contestants also did their best. But at the end of the day, there could only be one queen. As usual, Mrs Botswana beauty pageant always has the best contestants who are not just beautiful but intelligent too. This time around, they made the judges' job very hard as everyone had their eyes on the crown, from creating the My Botswana and My Pride parade to the evening gowns.

Some of the interesting gowns during the Mrs Botswana, My Botswana, My Pride parade include Masima's dress inspired by the ancient makgabe. It also had wigs, each showcasing pictures of all the country's former presidents to the current one with a leopard print drop.

Godiraone Tshome mesmerised the audience with her silver jump suit and an umbrella like cover inspired by the local diamonds. She said the beauty of Botswana lies behind the diamond. She explained that diamonds were their pride, gift and their beauty as a country.

Lesego Williams wore a red dress and a hat which had pictures of the three Dikgosi. She talked about how they fought for the country's freedom. On the other hand, Magdeline Disang wore a brown leather dress showcasing the importance of livestock to Batswana while Pelonomi also opted for a brown dress with a veil and balloons.

Ophatsimo Kgetsi wore a hat made of baskets (ditlatlana), beads and leather inspired by South Saharan culture. At the pageantry, Lera, Olerato Sebotso and Jay Dee The Artist captivated the audience with energetic performances.
