In their first statement since Sebata, through his company, Sebata Holdings announced he was leaving the club, Rollers said they will not discuss the issue publicly. 'In accordance with club professional ethics we will prioritise managing the transition internally, and not resort to addressing sensitive internal issues publicly. We will endeavour to engage further with the Sebata Group for a smooth transition,' Rollers spokesperson, Pako Lebanna said through the statement.
'At this stage we will also be engaging our internal stakeholders such as players, technical team and office staff as well as club members. It is also important to note that the TRFC executive committee held a consultative meeting with the national branches on April 26 2025 to update them on the status of the team, as the executive committee acts upon the mandate of registered supporters as the rightful owners of the team. The club is thus not in a position to release further public information as this is still an internal matter,' Lebanna further said.
