However, the sound system was bad. But that did not shake the choirs, artists and even the Masters of Ceremony for the day as they gave the show their all. The audience joined in and enjoyed the event, singing and dancing the night away. From the look of things, some of them did not even notice that the sound that kept having glitches was that bad as all they focused on was to praise the Lord. They sang along the performers of the night and went with the flow. The event had a sermon where pastors, Mookamedi Tube and De bruin De bruin preached and prayed for attendees before the choirs worked their magic on the stage. Two co-hosts from Motsweding FM, Modisane Modise and Pastor Israel Motsamai brought light to the venue as they kick-started their MCeeing by giving shout out to the audience representing different villages and places in Botswana.
While doing their job, they kept on giving motivational talks, encouraging the audience to dream big and also told them that it was not their fault that they were in situations they found themselves in, such as being born in poverty, being abandoned by their fathers, and being unemployed. They assured them that they will make it in life as long as they believe in God. They gave the event a vibe with their immeasurable energy. During their installment, Angels of God choir delivered a splendid performance. Their attire, dance and singing was breath taking. The women wore royal blue dresses while the gentlemen looked stunning in their navy blue suits. While preparing to blow the audience away with a beautiful performance, the hosts warmed the audience up singing Sa Rialo Sefofu engaging the audience. The choir kick-started the show singing Eloyi Ya Mabasakatane before going on to sing Ragoga Masole and others. The clapping and tapping was on point, prompting the audience to join in. Meanwhile, Bana ba Lesedi in navy blue uniform with white berets for women sang songs like Bamba Mzalwane, Setlhabelo Saka, Emmanuel (lebitso la ngwana ke mang) and many other songs got the arena dancing and singing when the choir outdid itself dishing out one of the best performance so far. With her usual energies, South African Sione gospel artist, Winne Mashaba got on stage and did her magic.
She kick-started her performance with her song Jwang Kapa Jwang, then Ke Rata Wena, Eloyi Baba and Mphelegetse in remembrance of the late Solly Moholo whom she paid tribute to. Her performance got the audience, even those who were sitting down, standing, dancing and singing their hearts out. She further announced that her dress was designed by a local fashion designer. She closed her performance with Ga ke Tsebe Ke Tla go Leboga Jang. Other choirs that dished beautiful performances include Dineo Tsa Tumelo, Isaac and Mighty, Universal Khathisma, Macecilia and Bana ba Lesedi. However, renowned SA gospel giant, Sechaba also treated the audience to a sterling performance. He got the arena singing and dancing to have a songs. Moreover, Mabaila Foundation gifted five Athletics Clubs from different places in the country with P5, 000 cheques as a way to support and groom new talented athletes in Botswana. Mabaila Foundation Clap and Tap remains one of the most loved and biggest Clap and Tap shows in Botswana and never disappoints even though this time around the sound system and light were not up to the standards. Otherwise the set up was beautiful and the audience came in numbers as the tickets were said to have been sold out.
