Mopako Adventure Camp public relations officer, Malebogo Modise, said they were thrilled to announce their horse racing event. The occasion is expected to be a unique and engaging experience combining the excitement of horse racing with the rich cultural heritage of the Basarwa people. Modise stated that the two days event is aimed at empowering the local community by creating a platform for businesses, artists, and athletes to showcase their talents while promoting Basarwa culture.
In collaboration with local partners, Modise said Mopako Adventure Camp curated an action-packed day featuring thrilling horse races, captivating performances, and authentic Setswana traditional cuisine. The Mopako Ranch Adventure Camp is founded by Mopako, the brain behind the event and indeed the owner of the ranch. His remarkable dedication and unwavering commitment to agriculture and community upliftment have made the Mopako Adventure Camp Horse Racing event possible. He hails from Ramotswa and has now assumed responsibility over the community that hosts his farm, Kanaku-Mabutsane. The day's activities will include horse racing, Basarwa Traditional Dance, Arts and Crafts display and Polka dance. The event is said to be powered by MTD Distributors. The community also supports the event in kind, and the team said it was still open to receive support in cash or in kind.
