Mitchell Drilling Botswana and its subsidiary, Simolola Drilling Services, are leading drilling service providers dedicated to delivering safe, efficient, and innovative drilling programs for mining projects. Our team consists of seasoned Technical Drill Rig Coordinators, Drill Rig Operators, Drill Rig Equipment Mechanics, and Drill Safety Coordinators with extensive experience in managing drilling contracts.

To support our ongoing drilling projects in Botswana, we are looking for highly skilled professionals for the following roles:

DRILL RIG ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC FITTER

Key Responsibilities:

*Design and establish the operations base for maintenance activities

*Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on all drill rigs and related equipment

*Implement design and maintenance strategies for drilling equipment

*Oversee maintenance, quality assurance, and quality control systems

*Manage site workshop operations, ensuring availability of equipment and personnel

*Collaborate with drill rig operators, project managers, stores, and field operations to deliver quality services

*Liaise with equipment suppliers for technical support and improvements

Experience & Competency Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in drill rig equipment maintenance and strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the following drill rigs:

*RCC Sandvik UDR 1500

*Sandvik UDR 710

*Hydromec Backhoe

Required Qualifications:

*Fitter Mechanic certificate

*Expertise in Rigging Fundamentals for drill rig equipment

*Electro-Mechanical Hydraulics Training certification
