FINANCE MANAGER

PAN AFRICAN TRADING & CEMENT PRODUCTS PTY LTD, a manufacturing company under Pan African Holdings requires a chartered accountant for executive finance and business development. The group has diverse manufacturing activities including copper beneficiation and steel processing. The candidate needs to be experienced business development in these industries

REQUIREMENTS:

*Chartered Accountant

*Additional professional qualification

Company Secretary.

Cost Accountant.

*Proven working experience in corporate environment over 15 years and above

*Experience to drive corporate strategies for growth.

*Member of Botswana Institute Of Accountants and similar institutions from country of origin

*Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

*Excellence in accounting software user and administration skills.

*Business development skills

*Business development and new business set-up

*Experience of at least 10 years in tax planning.

*Experience in project planning

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Manage all accounting operations.

*Reporting to the board of directors of the company

*Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

*Tax planning

*Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

*Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

*Support month-end and year-end close process.

*Negociate with financial institutions and investors to raise capital.

*Develop and document business processes and policies to maintan and strengthen internal controls.

*Key role in the development of any new company ventures.

**Negotiate and develop business strategies / investments for joint ventures; exit strategies.

*Manage company investment portfolios.

*HR developments
