He added that they also intended to bring in products from Africa to Botswana. He also said their vision is to see Botswana become a significant player in the international cosmetic industry. He expressed his gratitude towards Zaron brand for taking their time to come and share their story with locals and said he was looking forward to bringing in more international cosmetic brands whilst also exporting local ones. He said he wanted his organisation to be a game changer for local cosmetic industry as it has a lot to offer and ensure both clients and retailers satisfaction. According to Miss Botswana director, Benjamin Raletsatsi, cosmetics and beauty professions were never taken seriously as many people thought it was an industry for people that did not do well academically. He therefore pointed out that as a beauty pageant organization, they are passionate about beauty and fashion as they align with their vision.
He said they found the need to invite Zaron Cosmetic to the country to not only sell their products here but also share their experience and inspire aspiring and established local cosmetic brands. He added that the cosmetic industry is worth more than eight billion of dollars.
