Key Outputs:

Oversee all aspects of guest services to ensure each guest enjoys a personalized and memorable experience that aligns with our 5-star standards

Continuously seek opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and exceed expectations through innovative service offerings and attention to detail

Ensuring 5-star guest experiences

Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the Lodge, including overseeing all staff

Responsible for all Human Resources of staff based at the lodge

Responsible for the financial performance of the lodge including all capital expenditure

Compilation of budgets and financial controls including month-end processes, annual budgets and payroll

Operational business reports to the Operations Manager

Oversight of all the departments at lodge level

Support community development projects

Ensure sustainability goals are met and standards are maintained.

Know how to work in remote communities with tribal leadership with project implementation

Basic knowledge of Solar Plant and basic care of Solar Plant

Qualifications:

A diploma/degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality or equivalent

Knowledge of Microsoft programs

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a hospitality management position

Valid Drivers’ Licence

Up to date Wine & Beverage courses on current international trends

Skills and Personal Characteristics:

An outgoing, warm, friendly personality, with good command of the English language and exceptional communication skills

The ability to work under pressure and self-motivation to meet deadlines.

Passionate about creating memorable experiences for individuals.

Good interpersonal skills and superb attention to detail

Excellent financial acumen

Willingness and ability to share information, and to teach and inspire others.

Must be willing to work extensively in remote areas for long periods of time. This is not a town-based position.

Good knowledge of Southern African countries
