VACANCY:

OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic person with 10+ years of working experience to oversee and manage the operational side of our specialised furniture removals and shipping industry at our Gaborone head office.

Requirements:

*Minimum 10 Years of experience in a similar role.

*Honest, self-motivated and reliable.

*Sober habits.

*Sound experience with truck scheduling and route optimisation.

*Sound experience with vehicle maintenance management.

*Proficient in financial performance management, including debtors and creditors.

*Proficient in various software applications including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, tracking, timekeeping etc.

*Excellent customer relations and communication skills.

*Team management & development skills.

*HR disciplinary experience.

*Valid Class EC driver’s license is a bonus.

Position

*Manage the operational aspects of the business to its full potential striving for efficiency, profitability and cost saving.

*Provide customers with excellent service and communication.

*Budget management and creditors control.

*Planning & prioritising workload.

*Staff training, discipline & competence development.

*Fleet management control, service and maintenance scheduling
