Man shot dead gangland style on farm

Police say the assailants entered the farm at 11p.m. and shot and killed the man gangland style before fleeing the scene. Prior to proceeding to the main house the assailants had held a domestic worker prisoner.

The murder was reported to the Broadhurst Police Station at 4a.m. on Tuesday.
The motive of the murder has not been determined. 'We have not established the motive of the murder,' said Senior Superintendent Dipheko Motube of police public relations. He added that the police were also trying to establish whether anything was stolen from the house.

The deceased was a Motswana of South African origin.
The deceased's 57 year-old wife has been admitted at the Gaborone Private Clinic. 'She is currently recuperating at the private hospital,' Motube said. Police are hoping she will help them in their investigations.
