Human Resources and Administration Executive
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Reporting to the Operations Director, the incumbent is assigned the responsibility and authority for the Human Resources and Administration Management Department processes.
2.Managing the Human Resources and Administration Management Department processes effectively and efficiently by planning, leading, organising, coordinating and controlling.
3.Perform the Human Resources and Administration Management Department functions effectively and efficiently by applying the implemented organization integrated management system (quality, environment, health and safety).
4.Manage the Human Resources and Administration Management Department in a cross-functional manner, ensuring interrelation with other departments of the organization.
5.Be accountable for the achievement of the Human Resources and Administration Management Department objectives.
6.Establish, provide and maintain an appropriate department environment necessary for the operation of the Human Resources and Administration Management Department processes.
7.Support, guide and facilitate the Human Resources and Administration Management Department team through the department processes.
8.To deliver efficient, accurate and timely customer focused advice as the first point for Human Resources contact to other departments of the organization.
9.Facilitate all activity management and data reporting in relation to the organization performance management processes.
10.Be the custodian of data and organizational effectiveness evaluation reporting.
11.Drive and action any Human Resources related facilitation effecting awareness of the organization integrated quality policy, relevant quality objectives and engagement in general.
12.Effectively resolve industrial relations issues and manage risks.
13.Review and develop policies and procedures to ensure implementation thereof for effective realisation of Human Resources objectives
14.Keeping abreast of employment standards, industrial relations codes of good practice, regulations and statutory requirements to ensure compliance.
KEY COMPETENCIES
1.Human Resources processes understanding.
2.Good understanding of industrial relations statutory and regulatory requirements.
3.Have in-depth knowledge of labour law and employment standards in order to meet or exceed stakeholders’ needs and expectations.
4.Strong analytical skills using process approach and risk-based thinking.
5.Strong attention to detail and quality.
6.Ability to multitask.
7.Ability to work under pressure and have good time management.
8.Ability to balance the Human Resources Department’s competing demands (time, cost and quality).
9.Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1.Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management/Industrial Psychology or a related discipline from a recognized university.
2.Computer skills (Sage VIP Payroll and HR, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3.At least five (5) years post post-qualification experience in Human Resources Management.
4. Professional membership from a credible institution will be an added advantage.
