Job Function

Build on the current market leadership position and drive the organisation to further sustainable growth while enhancing the value delivered to principals and customers. Ensure a high performance culture and embed technology and people practices that drive enhanced customer loyalty and employee engagement. Responsible for strategy development and embedding an efficient operating model to deliver on business objectives in full compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements. Aligning organisational strategy and ways of working with the broader DP World Market Access Healthcare strategic direction and operating model.

Key performance areas

• Define and implement a strategy and operating model for the business.

• Define and implement policies for a value-chain function in the context of the organisational, strategy, operating model, relevant corporate governance and risk profile.

• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency throughout the business using enablers such as technology wherever possible.

• Define and control annual budgets and longer-term financial plans. Conduct financial planning and develop commercial models to enable sustainable and comprehensive business initiatives.

• Agree and deliver on all financial key performance indicators for the business.

• Build mutually beneficial relationships with clients, customers and stakeholders successfully execute on strategic and operational plans.

• Oversee structured engagements with clients.

• Effectively position Fine Pharmaceutical as the most knowledgeable and influential healthcare distributor business in Botswana.

• Lead the people & culture agenda for the business in line with DP World values.

• Build a high performance team through effective DP World people management practices.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Relevant Bachelor`s Degree and/or Advanced Diploma.

• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience leading in the Healthcare arena with at least 5 years at a senior management level in the African Healthcare sector.
