1. Engineer/Scientist- Trade Metrology (Francistown Branch): Vacancy No. 2/2024/2025

Job Summary and Requirements

The successful candidate will be expected to promote the adoption of standards and quality assurance policies and practices within the trade metrology sector to enhance public awareness of quality goods and services and provide technical services within specialized Trade Metrology area.

The successful candidate will have at least a degree in engineering or natural science preferably in the fields of measurement, instrumentation or physics, and a valid driving licence. Engineering applicants must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB). Experience is not required but would be an added advantage.

2. Engineer Compulsory Standards - Mechanical (Francistown Branch): Vacancy No. 3/2024/2025.

Job Summary and Requirements

The successful candidate will be expected to enforce compliance with compulsory standards, promote quality assurance policies and practices to enhance the delivery of goods and services to protect the public in the interest of health and safety and provide inspection services within a specialized area.

The candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree, a valid driver’s licence and must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB). Experience is not required but would be an added advantage.
