A manufacturing company based in Phakalane seeks to recruit an inspired individual who is looking for a challenging job to join its manufacturing team for the following position in Botswana.

FINANCE MANAGER

Job Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, and liaising with the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following: -

*Manage statutory financial accounting and reporting within the framework of an agreed business strategy and to meet operational targets in order to derive return on investment, profitability and customer satisfaction.

*Develop the Finance and Administration team to ensure productivity.

*Handling insurance matters.

*Providing support through information analysis, Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting, preparation of operational data/ analysis for all departments and ensure those who rely on / benefit from the information to *make informed business decisions and ensure profitability.

*Supervising the Technical Accounting Processes of the organisation

*Working Capital Management

*Act as Compliance Officer for the organisation

*Oversee the implementation of process changes and technology to support the finance function.

*Take full charge of training and developing all new and existing subordinate staff within the department.

*Should have adequate knowledge of Cost accounting practices.

Requirements

*Ideally the candidate should have the following:

*Minimum 10 years’ experience in Financial Management, at least 5 of which must be at senior management in the manufacturing industry.

*Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders of the business.

*Passion and flare for implementation of systems and training

*Be a member of CIMA/ACCA/BICA/ICMAI
