The eight-year-old girl is returning this afternoon after she was discharged from SA's Mokopane Hospital today.

The child was one of the pilgrims in transit to Moria for the Easter weekend worship. Their bus never made it to Moria as it fell over Mma Matlakala Bridge on Thursday, leaving the 8-year-old girl travelling with her grandmother, as the only survivor.

She had been hospitalised since the tragic accident occurred.

SA’s Minister of Health Dr Joe Phaahla reported that she was recuperating well following medical care and minor surgery.

She is expected to make her way back into the country in the company of her mother, who was flown to SA by the Botswana government.
