Letlhakeng branch committee wants Kablay to be vetted out

The committee cited Kablay’s lack of visibility in the constituency and his residency in Molepolole as reasons for their recommendations. This came as a surprise for Kablay, who is currently the chief whip for the party in Parliament. “I have heard of such rumours since they are some people who are spreading them and it’s unfortunate that some of them are in the branch committee. I am always addressing kgotla meetings. This issues are supposed to be party internal things, but now some people have leaked them to the media, which is not a good idea. We are all BDP members, whether I contest or not. I will be forced to support another member, so I urge party members to stop dirty politics and we must all wait for party decisions,” Kablay said in an interview on Saturday. The final decision about who will be allowed to stand for election will be made by the BDP’s CC soon.
