Chinyemba returned to the Magosi hot seat for a third stint with the club early this month.

The coach is unbeaten in three games he has been on the bench since his return. Magosi played to a 1-1 draw at home against Uniao Flamingo Santos in Chinyemba's first game in charge. The team then played a 1-1 away draw against Mogoditshane Fighters before a 2-0 win over City Polar at home last weekend. Magosi are back in contention for the Debswana First Division South League playoff spot.

The team sits fourth, three points behind second-placed City Polar and Santos in the third spot.

It is a tough assignment to catch up with leaders Young Stars who are 10 points ahead of Chiefs as the league enters the last quarter. Chinyemba revealed to MmegiSport that he is tasked with securing promotion to the elite league as he admits he would need favours from league rivals to end Chiefs' dance in the dusty grounds. "First Division football has only got one reward, which is promotion. This means all the 12 teams need to win the league to go to the Premier League more so especially us. We have been seven years in the dusty grounds. We really need to try and win the league. But it is no longer in our hands; we would just play game by game and probably if other teams slip-up, City Polar, Santos, and Young Stars, we have a chance.

But we will need to win our remaining games and see where we end at the end of the season," said Chinyemba.

The Zimbabwean tactician has helped Holy Ghost and TAFIC on two occasions secure promotion to the elite league and feel confident ahead of the last six games at Chiefs. Promotion would provide a quantum of solace for Magosi after unknown City Kings eliminated them from the Orange FA Cup in the last 32 round. Chiefs are in action tomorrow away to Tlokweng United at the Tlokweng VDC Grounds. The SSG Grounds will host a clash of former top-tier sides, Notwane and Extension Gunners while UB Hawks host Desert Nxau at the Fighters Grounds. Leaders Young Stars visit URI Black Forest at the Forest Arena. On Sunday afternoon, City Polar welcome Prisons XI at the SSG Grounds as Fighters and Santos meet at the Fighters Grounds. All the games kick off at 4:30pm.
