The night spot has been open to the public for few months. Nestled in the very spot that was once occupied by the renowned Bahama Lounge at the Bonanza Complex, Temple Lounge signifies not just a change in a name but a fresh chapter in the local entertainment scene as it has taken a great leap of faith, trusting the local artists to pull a crowd.

It announced itself with a bold and innovative approach from a plethora of local talented artists, setting the tone for what promises to be a captivating journey for the new management into the life of entertainment industry. The local artists who were entrusted to carry the official launch did not disappoint as they dished out performances to die for. Even ATI who has been trending in the past week, blessed the occasion with his presence and performed well. Just like at the Son of the Soil event, he was lent a helping hand by the security bouncers while standing during his performance.

The Stimamolelo hitmaker served the revellers with hits like Lephoi, Skabawara and Dumele. Ancestral rituals who are known for their electrifying performances with their drums too had the revellers eating out of the palm of their hand as they showed off their dancing skills.

Other performances came from the likes of Casper the DJ, Vee Mampeezy with MC Theo and Kagiso Ludo De Klerk being the hosts of the official opening. One of the exciting aspects of Temple Lounge is its dedication to supporting local talent which is what people have been calling for to afford home grown artists to showcase their skills and introduce themselves to Batswana. Moreover, Temple Lounge boasts a revamped interior that exudes sophistication and style. The ambiance is sleek and modern with the lounge set upstairs while the club is downstairs.

The Lounge promises to be a great turnover for the entertainment industry for years to come.
