The Reds are now onto the last 16, and will be looking to defend the cup they have won three times in the past three seasons. Coach 'Piro' believes his charges can do a league and cup double this season. GU have lost ground in the title race after losing two games in a row.

The gaffer said in the post match interview that they have not lost belief that they will win the league and defend the FA Cup. "It is still too early to judge. Realistically there are still two cups to play for. Look, we are chasers, we are fighters and we will fight until the end.

I believe we can win it and defend the FA cup as well, and we want both of them. It was good game today, good result and good performance. It is what we have been missing," Moloi said. Moloi said his team is ready to fight until the last moment to win a double. It was a good result for Moya goelele supporters after enduring a tough run in the league recently.

Moloi had made changes, dropping his two best players, Thatayaone Kgamanyane and Mpho Kgaswane to the bench. He gave Zimbabwean striker, Albert Nyamutsaka a run and the forward rewarded the coach with a brace.

Striker Molaodi Tlhalefang opened the scoring in the sixth minute after a neat square pass from Sheikh Sesay. January signing, Nyamutsaka could have made it 2-0 but he missed a sitter in the 12th minute. He failed to connect with Mothusi Johnson's pass from a free-kick after the fullback had put him through with a beautiful delivery. Prisons XI responded immediately when Mokuye Shakambayo found space inside the box to put one past the GU goalkeeper after a neat interchange. Johnson restored GU's lead in the 22nd minute from a beautiful free-kick just outside the area.

Nyamutsaka then redeemed himself when he scored in the 36th minute from Johnson's beautifully lobbed cross. The striker could have gotten his brace a few minutes later when he saw his shot fly over the bar after beating his marker on the edge of the area. The striker scored his second in the 50th minute when he pounced on a long pass from the goalkeeper. Tlhalefang got his brace in the 79th minute assisted by Kgamanyane. Kgamanyane then failed to make it six for GU when he ballooned his penalty over the bar in the 84th minute. For his part, Prisons XI coach said Sylvester Madisa said they failed to manage the game after equalising as they allowed GU to score two quick goals in succession. "The complexion of the game changed thereafter as we were now chasing the game and we got exposed. We prepared well for this game unfortunately things didn't go according to plan," he said.
