Addressing the media recently, the lounge manager, Modise 'Mod' Mpolokang said they have invited local artists such as Vee Mampeezy, ATI, Kagiso de Klerk, Ancestral Rituals, Casper The DJ, Frostbite, DJ Benyboi, DJ Kholii, Mashubane and Lebgee. Mc Theo and April Gates will be the masters of ceremony for the day. For his part, The Temple Lounge marketing manager, Oarabile 'Onz' Rasefako explained that they have various packages that would allow revellers into the VIP area. He said the P2, 500 package includes access to VIP with one bottle of Jagameister, a bottle of Hennessy, 12 pack Red bull and six water bottles which is a package for four people.
The second package worth P2, 000 includes a bottle of Jagameister and a bottle of Jameson, 12 pack Red bull and six water bottles. It also accommodates four people while the third package worth P1, 700 includes two bottles of Jagameister, 12 pack Red bull and six pack of water. However, for the general access, a six-pack gets you in. This is where revellers are expected to buy a six-pack of drinks of their choice for P200, either alcoholic or non-alcoholic to get access into the launch. Meanwhile, the event spokesperson, Tlamelo Letlole pointed out that they had built up events such as ladies night, DJ Earth's Birthday bash, Tipsy Saturdays event. He promised that they will keep bringing more exciting events prior and after the bash.
He also said the aim of the lounge was to boost the country's economy through music and entertainment. He said they aim to be one of the best night clubs in the country. "We have free Wi-fi because we are living in a generation where social media is important. We have employed about 50 young people in and around Block 9. Our aim is to provide employment to people in our catchment area such as Gaborone West Phase 1, Block 5, Block 9, and Kgale View. We have various posts and services where we hired the youth within our catchment area. Our target market is the working class. We have humble, loving and good service providing employees.," he said.
The revamped Temple Lounge is classy and a great chill out space for parties and chill outs with friends. The lounge is placed upstairs while the club is downstairs and both give different vibes.
