Brother hacks older sibling for 'insulting' mother

The older sibling is at Sekgoma Memorial Hospital in stable condition, while his brother is wanted by law enforcement. The No.2 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang, reported the incident on Friday at around 10pm.
“We are investigating an unlawful wounding case after a man was hacked with an axe by his younger brother at Bollathaga cattle post. It is alleged that a misunderstanding between the brothers started after the older one insulted their mother, which did not sit well with the younger brother and ended in a fight. While fighting, the younger brother grabbed an axe, hacked his brother with it, and left him in the hospital before escaping the crime scene,” he said.
Oketsang stated that investigations are ongoing to locate and arrest the suspect currently at large.
