The player's move has since stalled due to the debt. "There was just a few things lagging behind.

There was an agreement. Thero owes the team and he must have settled the debt before he could move. The agreement (between club and player) was made in the event that the contract is terminated or elapses; all money that any player owes the team should be paid. Unfortunately the debt was not paid.

Until he pays the team, that is when everything is going to be processed," GU's marketing and communication manager, Herbert Letsebe said. Setsile has penned a three-year deal with the Galaxy Stars putting to an end his two-year stay at the Reds. GU has seen four departures ahead of the transfer window. Kenyan midfielder, Duncan Otieno, was released from his contract recently while the duo of Kennedy Amutenya and Onkabetse Makgantai left due to disciplinary reasons. Makgantai has since moved to TAFIC while the Reds have signed Zimbabwean forward, Albert Nyamutsaka from Golden Eagles on a two-and-half-year contract.

"We are still in the market, we need to fill certain positions. A central defender, a defensive midfielder and a winger, so yeah we are still in the market. Hopeful before the window closes we would have filled those positions," Letsebe said. The players' merry-go-round is catching speed in the first week of the transfer window. Galaxy have secured former Zebras junior player, Tlamelo Kolagano.

The full back is seen as a replacement for Benson Mangolo who has moved to the Tanzanian Premier League. The league champions were beaten by Township Rollers to the signature of South African forward, Thabiso Mokenkoane who arrived at Popa on a year and half contract. Orapa United are said to be edging closer to a reunion with former head coach, Mogomotsi 'Teenage' Mpote.

The club is having a busy transfer period as long-term serving Onkemetse Powe and forward, Thabo Metlhayotlhe were released. The Ostriches are said to be chasing Shaun Theron and Serati Semadi of Young Stars, while Mbatshi Elias is set for a return after a difficult stint with Rollers. Elias is also on the radar of TAFIC and Matjimenyenga has boosted their squad with the arrival of Ronny Legaetse and Kudzani Sibanda from Eleven Angels.
