Clubs to boycott weekend games

This comes after the BFL secretariat issued this weekend's fixtures but Ratlhaga told Mmegi Sport the boycott is still on. Out of 16 Premier League clubs, 13 were part of the Palapye meeting which the mother body, the Botswana Football Association (BFA) said it did not recognise the outcome. "The fixtures are out because Zac is bullying the secretariat but the shareholders have made a binding decision and nothing has changed," he said.
Yesterday, the 'new' BFL leadership indicated it had suspended chairperson, Nicholas Zakhem, while Jagdish Shah has reportedly resigned. Former BFA president, Tebogo Sebego is said to have penned the letter suspending Zakhem. Zakhem has said the suspension is invalid. The BFA has called for a meeting of the warring factions this evening, which includes the BFL board and shareholders as well as the association's National Executive Committee. Ratlhaga confirmed they will attend the meeting, expected to be chaired by BFA president, Maclean Letshwiti.
