Seisa was Khama III's private secretary and English interpreter who accompanied the three chiefs to England to seek protection. So the Seisa family in Botswana has called other family members from Lesotho and South Africa to celebrate their great grandfather who came from Lesotho to Bechuanaland in 1890s. The family wants to use this event to ask the government to recognise their grandfather who had historical input towards the country's independence.

However, the same event will also thank the government for honouring the late Bishop Reverend Kadi Seisa who was Seisa's son through the recent Presidential awards. The event will culminate with the historical narration of how Seisa was invited by Kgosi Sekgoma II and other cultural activities on December 29, 2023 whereupon the family in the three countries will establish continuous ties.
