Taxi man robbed, car stolen

No16 district officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Nicholas Kadiatla, said investigations on the matter are ongoing to locate the stolen Madza Demio.
Kadiatla stated that when narrating his plight, the taxi driver said when he was on his way to drop off the customer at Flowertown, on their way, he instructed him to stop and give another man who was by the roadside a lift.
“He said he went outside to assist him to put his luggage into the boot and the duo attacked and assaulted him. They drove off with his taxi leaving him in the bush,” he said.
“The driver lost cash amounting to P300, his mobile phone, and a driver’s licence that was inside the car. Efforts are in place to locate the stolen blue Madza Demio and the suspects who are still at large.” He further pleaded with members of the public to their investigation to arrest the suspects and locate the car.
Moreover, he cautioned the public to be on the lookout for criminals as theft incidents go on the increase during this time of the year.
