Digital Thread drives corporate digitalisation

As the world chatters a path towards digitising manual operations, local tech savvy entrepreneur, Kabelo Maverick, has been breaking ground with his company Digital Thread.
Founded with the vision of being a company of the future, Digital Thread, has a niche expertise in digital consultancy offering local corporations online strategies for enhancing their social media presence.
Maverick relates that interfacing with technology has always been something at his finger tips, with an eager interest in computer programmes spanning from his early childhood years.
According to the entrepreneur, Digital Thread has been in the pipeline since 2019 with the aim of capacitating corporations with the ability to engage and participate in online platforms.
“We specialise in digital consultancy, for companies looking to digitise manual systems and processes,” Maverick said.
“As for our business philosophy, it revolves around leveraging on digital innovation to propel the corporate landscape into a global digital hub.”
Speaking to the growth of the enterprise to date, Maverick said that they have grown beyond consultancy to encompassing new services for corporations such as social media accounts management, data analysis and the development of online portals for different customer engagements.
“I have worked with malls like The Fields mall when they were seeking to create an online presence,” he said.
“I have further worked with Wusa sportswear, Phakalane English medium just to name a few. And our overarching vision is to be the leading catalyst of digital solutions, driving Africa’s technological evolution and shaping a connected future.”
In order to oust competition, Maverick says what keeps him ahead of fellow competitors is the skills and knowledge base he has acquired from his years of research in the tech space, together with strategic partnerships with players in the tech space.
“My niche is at the intersection of digital media innovation, technological advancement and societal impact in Botswana and these will open doors for us to venture into the space of technological education and other e platforms,” he added.
Digital Thread is poised to develop Artificial intelligence (AI) tools that will add more technological ability to its service offerings affording it the ability to develop more products in the space of robotics and machine learning.
