Born Odirile Sento, the ‘Dumalana’ hit maker surely made history with LMS as he became one of the few artists to fill up the Game City Rooftop to the brim. Not only did he manage to pull off a successful event, Vee Mampeezy delivered one of the best performances on the night as the man of the moment. Like he did last year on the inaugural of the LMS, Vee Mampeezy never for one moment stayed on the stage alone which is most common for main artists. The renowned artist’s performance went from popping up at the back on a crane. He further took it far as him and his dancers went on to even get on the roof rafters and incessantly danced their shoes off like nobody’s business.

Vee Mampeezy gave revellers a taste of his new music that he has released this year. Songs like ‘Your time’ which is his latest was surely Vee Mampeezy’s favourite as he performed the song more than once and the song will surely turn into a hit as revellers danced to the tune with its Tik Tok dance challenge. He further took people aback to his songs like Zaza and Taku Taku. With the events of this gigantic magnitude having a star-studded line-up, it is common that most artists do not show up for the event but with LMS that was not the case as people got what they had paid for.

Artists like Murumba Pitch, Justin 99, Pcee, Sun El and Paige did pitch and also set the mood high through their performances. It all started with Murumba Pitch who paved the way for others. The trio delivered an electrifying performance and their hit songs like Hamba Juba, Imvula & Mohigan Sun were the most adored songs as patrons sang to them. Justin 99 and Pcee also did not disappoint as they did what they are known for, which are unique sleek moves only known by them behind the decks. The duo left revellers yearning for more. The ever-cool Sun El did not disappoint also as he took people down the memory lane to his song Sonin, which broke the streams and still remains a hit.

The producer and DJ was left in amusement seeing revellers sing word to word to his songs like Ubomu Abumanga. Paige, who is ever strenuous, did not dampen the mood but rather alleviated it with her performance. She hit it off on the stage and songs like ‘Letswai’ by her was one of the songs that worked the crowd. Local artists also pitched up and delivered great perfomances. Artists like Chrispin, DJ Ngwazi, Thato Tladi, and Chef Gustos showed that Botswana has enormous talent.
