The Summit will be held at the Royal Aria on November 22 to 23. To achieve this goal, it is imperative that we develop, implement, and monitor sustainability frameworks. This summit is a crucial step in our journey toward sustainability." According to Modise, there will be various sectors participating including public and private organisations. The list of speakers includes prominent figures from both local and international domains, experts from renowned organisations such as the United Nations (UN), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and potentially the World Economic Forum (WEF). It is a platform for all those invested in Botswana's future to engage with sustainability and ESG concepts “The Botswana Sustainability and ESG Summit 2023 is a significant step forward in Botswana's journey toward sustainability, and it promises to be an eye-opening experience for all participants. With global pressures and expectations mounting, the nation's commitment to embracing sustainability and ESG principles is more crucial than ever,” she added.
