MVA Fund unveils state of the art office

The building was officially opened by Patrinah Masalela, director of pensions and insurance in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. The MVA Fund, as well as several state owned entities, will be housed in the state-of-the-art structure. The building is not only a huge investment for the MVA Fund, but also a show of dedication towards road traffic safety promotion and excellent service delivery.
“Today, this building is an inspiration; it is a place where ideas will flourish, partnerships and collaborations will thrive, and where the MVA Fund and its tenants will continue to deliver quality service to residents of Francistown and northern part of the country. This great investment is not only a city landmark but will also drive economic growth in the north,” said Masalela.
The fund occupies the bottom floor of the building to ensure equitable access to all clients including those incapacitated by accidents.
The aesthetic P103m building measures approximately 4,363m2, comprising of five storeys and an underground parking. The building is also equipped with variable refrigerant flow air-conditioning, two elevators, backup generator, backup water tank, and fire emergency equipment. The project was delivered within budget and in schedule.
"We are very excited to open our new office in Francistown," stated Dr. Boitumelo Mokgatla, chairperson of the MVA Fund board of directors.
“This new structure will allow us to better serve our claimants in a conducive environment, promote road traffic safety and engage our various stakeholders on pertinent issues,” she said.
Dignitaries and guests from Francistown toured the MVA House for its official opening.
