Lentsweletau man fatally stabs girlfriend

The police were alerted of the situation at around 8pm, prompting ongoing investigations to uncover the reasons behind the altercation between the couple that escalated into a violent confrontation.
Molepolole Police Station commander, Superintendent Benedict Matlho said the 27-year-old suspect, also from Lentsweletau, was swiftly apprehended and is now facing charges for a single count of murder.
"The suspect was taken into custody on the same night and he is currently being held for investigations. Meanwhile, the deceased is at Scottish Livingstone Hospital, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
The incident occurred at their residence and we are still working to establish the root cause of their altercation," he stated.
