Ezra Neethings joins Joyous Celebrations Concert

The Danko hitmaker is currently one of the promising upcoming gospel artists in the country. Addressing the media on Tuesday, Braveheart managing director, Joel Manuel said the reason for including the local artists in the line-up is to give them a chance to learn and share knowledge and gain experience from Joyous Celebration.
He explained that adding Ezra Neethings would also create exposure for him as the event attracts people from other countries such as Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and others. He explained that Motheo and Kay Mokaleng, who benefited from last year’s show, are currently based in Johannesburg while Tshenolo Mosimane has joined the choir.
Manuel further explained that Joyous Celebration 'Life Changing Experience' concert cut across different genres such as Hip Hop, RnB, Ragga and Rhumba as long as they have gospel. He said that was intended to praise God in different music genres which catered for various audiences. He said they have partnered with Joyous Celebration and used music to revive people and get them to enjoy the music. “Joyous Celebration has been recording for 27 years and has 27 albums.
I take this event as a 360° sort of event from hospitality, the security, to the venue that is now and relevant. We have our partners and service providers. We will have food, drinks and some lounges where people can relax and have their drinks. This event also promotes tourism,” he said. For his part, Joyous Celebration founding member, Lindelani Mkhize encouraged people to attend the show in large numbers. Mkhize said those who have not attended the festival are missing out.
He highlighted that the Joyous Celebration 'Life Changing Experience' show was what people wanted it to be if not more. He said it had the ability to put the audience through different emotions. He added that he was excited that Joyous Celebration was coming back to perform in Botswana. He explained that the performance and reception were something else every time they came here. He explained that he was happy that for years they partnered with Braveheart, Batswana supported the event in numbers.
Mkhize whilst they have not been performing more often in South Africa because they were preparing for this show, they would dish out a magical performance.
