Born in Mabopane, north of Pretoria, South Africa, Paige got her breakthrough in music after her video in which she sang Makhadzi’s single ‘Ghanama’ in Isizulu, went viral on the internet.

However, she made her official music debut in 2021 alongside producer Sdala B, with their EP ‘Ngiyazifela Ngawe’.

According to the event organiser, Phat-Tee, Paige will be performing for the second time in the ‘The City of All Things Precious'. Paige last performed here three months back and the talented SA singer will be back by popular demand, he added.

During her previous appearance in the country, the South African songstress’s performance was short-lived as she was double booked to go and perform in Gantsi. The talented South African star will be sharing the stage with local artists amongst them vocalist Priscilla Khan. Priscilla K, as Khan is known, is one of the rising stars in the music circles.

She is expected to thrill the revellers with her impressive vocals. Priscilla K came into the limelight after she was featured in the popular hit ‘Away’ by Chef Gustos. The song has been making airwaves on local radio stations and televisions and has received several nominations for the Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAS).

Other local performers include C-ru, Que Rap, Sean Pink, Valery, DJ Bunz, Cue Deck, Missy and Nexus to mention but a few. Phat-Tee also said the festival will kick-start with a family fun day in which attendants will ride on quad bikes and horses and enjoy snooker games. Children will also be catered for with face painting, jumping castle, snooker, play stations, darts, chess and other activities.

“We have beefed up our security by hiring 30 security personnel in addition to the guards already deployed by the venue owners,” he added. He expressed gratitude to some of their sponsors, Steers, Debonnairs Pizza and Blue Jacket Plaza. The food outlets will be sponsoring the food competitions and for any enquiries Francistowners should visit their stall in Blue Jacket Plaza in front of Shoprite, he said. Early bird tickets P100, P120 at the gate and P250 for VIP and P40 for children.
