Chadibe man ends own life

Unverified reports suggest that the deceased killed himself after he stabbed his girlfriend following a misunderstanding they had. Confirming the incident, Tshesebe Police Station’s acting commander, Assistant Superintendent Motlamedi George said the deceased was discovered hanging from a tree in Jackalas No.1 on Thursday night. He said a passerby discovered the middle-aged man.
The individual was brought to Masunga Primary Hospital whereupon arrival he was declared dead.
George added that because the individual did not leave a note, it is still unclear why he committed suicide. He said that they are yet to establish what the deceased person was doing in Jackalas No.1, as he lives in Chadibe.
Asked about the speculative rumour, the acting police chief said a link is yet to be substantiated as they are investigating an unlawful wounding case in which someone was stabbed with a knife days before the suicide incident.
He said they were not certain whether the deceased person was involved or not because investigations on the matter are at a preliminary stage.
