Kereng replaced Jagdish Shah who resigned at the end of May after a decade at the helm as the president and chief financier. The new boss has said he is eager to bring back glory days to Rollers. The team has gone four seasons without silverware. “I want to plead with everyone that we should be united and have patience with each other. Everything will unfold as time goes on. There are a lot of things that are coming. We also need to have performance measures, the cups that the team has won should increase. Every season we should look back and see if we have added anything on what we have,” he said.

Kereng announced that Rollers will be using the Royal Aria Stadium for training and home games for the upcoming season. In his short period with the club, Kereng and the Bafana Pheto led executive committee roped in Prestige Parlours and NTT Nissan Botswana as partners alongside CA Sales while Stanbic Bank Botswana remains as the premier sponsor. The club has since acquired five cars for administrative and supporters mobilisation duties and will set up a mini restaurant at the Royal Aria Stadium on match days.

Meanwhile on the day, Rollers launched the new kits for the women’s team and the junior teams. Segolame Boy’s PTK Clothing will dress the ladies team while MN Clothing will supply the Under-13 and Under-15 teams with kits.
