Bale lines up True2Myself Exhibition & Fashion Show

He explained that he expresses himself and explores the beauty of vulnerability through his artworks which will be on display on the day.

The young man, who describes himself as a versatile artist, said he uses vivid colours and heavy layering textures which speaks to the complex nature of human existence and the many trials he encountered.

“As an artist, it is safe to say my reason for being is to create awareness on mental-health and freedom through my highly expressive artworks. I am tired of ignoring my true calling and my God-given talents. Today I embrace my most inner desires to be artistic, admired and notoriously brave as I stay True2Myself. Enough of denying my love for the creativity and urge to be unique,” he pointed out.

Bale said it was time he surrendered to the needs of being surrounded by beauty that represented the authenticity of his talents. He added that he was now defining and choosing his life's purpose as an artist. This talented artist also said he was ready and open to follow his success path, which was unfolding adding that he would not limit himself anymore.

Furthermore, he emphasised that the right people and circumstances were shifting to recognise his passion and ingenuity. He pointed out that as the universe conspired to bring him the perfect opportunity for growth, happiness and peace. He said he would not be deviated from his passion for art and self-expression adding that he would not shrink when people laughed at his artistic ambitions. “I am a deserving, admired, thriving artist. True2Myself, praise God, seek kindred spirits, create daily and educate my people. I feel blessed to be presenting to you all. This is my second solo exhibition and it is a special one. True2Myself Exhibition for the project is a series of true-life stories.

I am always going to put my pain first if I feel like that is right.” “I would say staying True2Myself is just like always making what decision I feel is best for me. Staying solid on my values, principles and dreams. When I was younger I wanted to grow up, now I am impatient to heal. I want outer signs of inner growth. To see the seeds I nurtured with unimaginable daily pain, perseverance and care blossom into a beautiful harvest of well being,” he said. He, however, said he was nowhere near where he wanted to be on his healing journey.

He added that through his artifacts, individuals should expect to see, relate and learn about mental health and self-expression. He also said his exhibitions were different in a sense that he incorporates other entertainers like poetry, music and DJs. He added poetess Kethamile would be reciting a poem at the event, Mandy Sunday as the singer for the day and Price de Kok as the DJ. Moreover, Bale said he learnt to monetise his passion for his craft, growing his audience and also learnt a few painting techniques which was fundamental to that exhibition. He added that he had grown as an artist from having 20 attendees for his first exhibition to exhibiting sell out shows.

He added that he did his first tour last year. However, he pointed out that his career journey was not as smooth as people think as he came about a few problems like not having enough resources to start working on the project well in time. He then explained that he overcame that by focusing on marketing and promoting the exhibition while waiting to gather his tools to begin working on new artworks.
