VTM FC were swift in the negotiations while BDF XI are believed to have moved at a snail's pace. The Lesotho champions arrived at an accord with 'Bafana Ba Dijabane,' formalising Mokhachane's move, thereby rendering it the most costly transfer between the Botswana Premier League and the Lesotho Premier League. “Bantu FC has agreed with Botswana side, VTM FC on the service of the skilful midfielder, Neo Mokhachane,” Bantu FC confirmed the transfer on their Facebook page. A versatile 26-year-old, Mokhachane fulfils the role of an attacking midfielder and can be deployed on the wings. He has 10 caps with the Lesotho national team and two goals since his debut in 2019.

Furthermore, Mokhachane has participated in 10 fixtures in the CAF inter-club competitions while also accruing the distinction of being a two-time league winner with Bantu FC. He was one of the standout players during Lesotho’s 2023 COSAFA Cup journey as Likuoena reached the tournament's final for the first time. As of yesterday (Thursday), Mokhachane is expected to depart Lesotho to link up with his new teammates today. His arrival will augment VTM's foreign contingent, which presently has the South African trio comprising Sfiso Myeni, Lucky Mokoena, and Rooi Mahamutsa. In tandem with Mokhachane's acquisition, VTM has confirmed the enlistment of former Township Rollers pair, Lemponye Tshireletso and Tlhalefo Molebatsi, alongside former Police XI's Sylvester Leririma.

The Jungle Kings have signed Eswatini's central midfielder, Banele Ndzabandzaba from Mbabane Highlanders, alongside former Namibian junior player, Richard Gonzalez Tsuseb from Outjo Football Academy. Forward, Karabo Setoutwe (Prisons XI), Kagiso Baitebogi (Walker XI) and Bofelo Lesole (Mbalakalungu SC) have also joined the Jungle Kings. Former Jwaneng Galaxy’s midfielder, Gape Gaogangwe has joined BPL returnees, TAFIC. Anderson Mokolokotwane has left Extension Gunners for Security Systems.
