Police deduce 'no foul play' in teacher’s death

Acting Superintendent Jaloni Somolekae, the commander of Tatitown Police Station, told Mmegi Online that no evidence points to foul play in the passing of the Nata Primary School teacher, who had been missing for nearly a month before the discovery of her remains.
The 33-year-old Themashanga native had been struggling with postpartum depression and the police later reported her as deceased after being struck by a train.
Following the discovery of the missing teacher's body, there was deliberation over whether her demise was a result of a train accident or if her body had been placed there to construct a false narrative. In a recent interview, Somolokae informed Mmegi Online that the post-mortem report definitively confirms that the 33-year-old was hit by a train.
"There was no foul play in the matter as it was suspected before," he stated. The acting station commander of Tatitown police acknowledged that it remains uncertain where the deceased had been throughout the duration before her unfortunate passing. He noted that her travel destination and origin on the fateful day remain unknown. Somolokae reiterated that the post-mortem report unequivocally establishes that a train fatally struck the 33-year-old teacher.
