Without blaming her parents for lack of proper welfare, the Bokaa-born and bred strove to reach out to God and with vast faith in Him, she eventually got inspired by the Word of God to defy the odds. She chose to dedicate all her life to serving God. In what provoked her thoughts deeply to choose light over darkness, Machobane got inspired by the scripture in the book of Matthew 13:8, and she never looked back and through divine interventions, she grew up to become a very strong and focused young woman.

“This is evidence that when you deny yourself certain pleasures on this earth and focus on Jesus Christ, our Saviour, He will fight your battles, and that is what I chose to experience,” she shared. Tlhabologang also said she then lived a life that over time attracted her family to also develop an interest in accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. She says the rest of the family has been supportive at heart and would never by any chance wish to see any one of them experiencing the hardships she encountered in her journey of life.

“Lack of parental care especially in dire situations has led some teenagers to indulge in some social ills which endangered their lives and later live to regret. As for me it was a different avenue that I chose to seek the Lord’s intervention and as such, His wisdom has led me to overcome the odds,” Machobane stressed. She says the Lord has been so graciously to her in the journey of life hence her new book titled, Looking unto Jesus. Machobane’s book, through its theme seeks to instil hope in the lives of God’s people while she’s is also currently working on her other book titled, The mountain of Prayer.

“The trials and tribulations I experienced in the journey of life, and having seen God fight them for me, motivated me to start writing books as a way of relaying the message to the world that, God is able to take bullets on our behalf and fight our battles for our peace sake. This is to say, God has our lives in the palm of His hands, and just because of that, nothing can snatch us out of His righteous hand,” she added. She said her desire is to see people living a peaceful life and free from depression.
