In an interview with Arts & Culture, he explained that he was the first African, a Motswana to be precise, to co-write a book with Brown. He stated that about five years ago, he started following the mentorship of Brown, participated in his mentorship programmes where along the way an opportunity came through. He said someone close to Brown, Raul Lopez who is one of the chief contributors for the book asked him to partake in writing the book. Brown is one of the world's most renowned American politicians and motivational speakers who has published a number of motivational books. “I was then privileged to have been part of the team of contributors for this book. Through ‘Your Story Sells’, we believe that everyone has a unique story to share whether from their personal life, friendships or family to inspire others. Our stories are very powerful. Your story is authentic and by this book we have written a guide to help people craft powerful stories,” he said. Grace pointed out that most of the time it seemed easier to borrow the stories of other people adding that sometimes those people are far from the environment or reality of where they are, yet their own stories could fit perfectly into the context of the same story. Grace explained that they wrote that guide to help people craft powerful stories; make the content of their books unfold how they crafted their own stories by being transparent in sharing the principles that made them.
Furthermore, he said he believed that from the fragments of each story in that book, one would gain something that would help him or her shape their own. He also said the book was for everyone who wanted to make a difference all over the world. From a mother raising children, to a husband who is a breadwinner, a teacher, corporate CEO, a preacher and basically everyone. He added that when people are watching a movie or listening to news, they watch people acting stories. “Our lives are actually the picture of the stories that are painted about our destiny. We want to inspire people to value their story enough to pass it to the next generation to influence and inspire others. The book was published by Made to Change the World Publishing Nashville, Tennessee. It is an easy to read script. The book is sold at $9.99, which is around P100 across all platforms. Moreover, he said he has written 20 books and seven already published. He said when people share their stories they become a bigger picture. He advised aspiring writers to value their stories from today and know that every moment of their life matters. “Be it your pain, your disappointment and your success, they all come together in a beautiful symphony of the story that ought to be shared. Value your life experiences, they are going to be somebody else's fuel to have hope, overcome and be able to know that if you were able to make it, then they too can make it,” he said.
