Envoy hails Russia-Botswana relations

Speaking on the occasion of his country’s reception marking the Russia Day at Avani Hotel and Resort Casino yesterday evening, Kemarskiy said the two countries maintain interaction in the international arena including the UN and its institutions.

He told a well attended event: “In particular, we share the same positions on combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the spread of modern forms of racism and xenophobia, on preventing an arms race in space, preventing the use of information and communication technologies in criminal purposes and others.” (Read a full story on Mmegi newspaper on Friday).
