We are on the right track, we just need to continue working on correcting mistakes going to Budapest,” he said. Other local athletes Leungo Scotch, Collen Kebinatshipi, Anthony Pesela and Isaac Makwala were on duty in Switzerland on Saturday.
The athletes were competing in the Geneva International Meet. Scotch stopped the clock in 44.82 seconds setting a new meeting record (MR) and personal best (PB) to win the men’s 400m.
New kid on the block, Kebinatshipi finished second with a time of 44.98 seconds. Makwala scooped second position in another heat dropping 45.79 seconds, which was his season’s best. Pesela was right behind him to clock 46.11 seconds.
