Tshireletso warns Chadibe ahead of second leg

He was speaking after Chadibe emerged victorious during the first leg of the encounter played at the Chad Arena on Saturday. Chadibe won the match by a solitary goal.
“We will meet at the VTM Arena next Saturday. We are comfortable playing at home. They are not a bad side. They were compact for the whole 90 minutes. We did not know much about them ahead of this match but we have learnt a few lessons from this encounter.
We look forward to the second round. It will not be easy for them,” he said in a post-match interview.
Tshireletso also commented on lack of shots on target from his side for the entire match. “It was always going to be difficult in Chadibe but the boys fought. They were better in the second half although we did not create chances. We will play our normal passing game and exploring wide areas at home,” he said. Chadibe mentor Joseph Banyatsi was equally not happy with his side’s failure to create chances.
“I am more worried about our failure to create chances. It is something that we must work on going into this match. To win matches of this nature we have to create chances and take them.” The weekend match was overshadowed by reports that Chadibe have temporarily roped in Elias Chinyemba in their technical set up. Chinyemba, who is considered a promotion specialist, recently helped Matebele gain promotion to the Premier League. However, Banyatsi denied the speculation. “Chinyemba is my close friend. We just advice each other on football matters. He has been visiting our training sessions as a spectator in recent days. He is not part of our technical team.” Banyatsi also issued a stern warning to VTM ahead of the second leg. “We will not sit back and attempt to defend our lead. We will attack. The best form of defence in football is to attack.” Meanwhile, Chadibe’s goal came on the 15th minute. An unmarked Moses Nyathi hit a U-turn inside the goal area and slotted the ball past VTM goalkeeper, Victor Motlhakaja. This turned out to be the only shot on target recorded in the match. Both sides applied a laid-back approach for most of the proceedings.
