The 32-year-old Maun native is getting gigs across several Southern African countries such as Zambia, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Mc MisD broke into the music scene as an event promoter, organising popular fiestas in Francistown, Gaborone and Maun.

After nine years in the business, Mc MisD has begun to establish her supremacy in Southern Africa and is already making waves in the scene. She emceed at events such as the All-White Carnival in Zeerust (South Africa), the Club Eastern Point Ladies Affair in Zambia and the Bulawayo Train Party in Zimbabwe to name but a few. She went on to say that her enthusiasm and persistence had kept her afloat and relevant in a male-dominated sector. She added that her major strength is following the rules, which has earned her the integrity that allows her to keep her top-tier standing both within and outside of the nation.

"You have to be smart as a female promoter because some people are ruthless and play dirty. Over the years, I've been able to be wise by not mixing business with pleasure in order to protect my reputation and build my brand," Mc MisD said. She said she hoped to see all the ladies in the entertainment sector conducting clean and sensible hustles in exchange of financial rewards and brand growth. She says she has previously worked for large corporations like Kgalagardi Breweries Limited (KBL) and Mascom Wireless and she also interacts for T.H.A.BO.'s Radio Botswana (RB2) North Gig Guide show. She added that she has always wanted to be a fulcrum in bridging the gap in the entertainment business between Gaborone and the second city, so making her ambition of being a millionaire a reality. As such, she has organised many festivals in Francistown over the years in order to bring vibrancy to attract foreign direct investors.

The energetic promoter has encouraged young people in the entertainment space, particularly young women, to never stop dreaming and believe that the sky is the limit. "Hustle until your money makes more money," she said.
