Boyfriend murder-accused to appear in court

The incident, which sent shockwaves around the village of Goodhope, took place in the wee hours of Saturday morning at the couple’s home. According to sources, the couple had gone out for a night of drinking on the fateful night.
The pair was seen arguing before leaving their drinking hole at around 3am heading for their homestead.
The man was found dead, stabbed by a sharp object, Officer Commanding District No.4 Sarah Gabathuse, told The Monitor. Although Gabathuse could not go into details about the deceased, she said he was found dead and the woman was arrested. She said the woman will appear before court on Monday to face a murder charge. “The incident could have happened anywhere between 3am and 4am.
The deceased was stabbed with a sharp object. We are still finding out the motive behind the killing but I can confirm that yes, the couple had a misunderstanding at the drinking spot,” she said.
