Doomsday looms for Gunners

On Saturday, the Peleng Boys take on fellow strugglers, Mogoditshane Fighters at the Molepolole Sports Complex in a Botswana Premier League tie. It is going to be an interesting battle involving the 16th and 15th-placed sides and neither would want to drop points on Saturday.
Gunners are 11 points away from safety and will pin their hopes on a yet struggling side, Holy Ghost who are in action on Sunday. If Holy Ghost get maximum points on the day and Gunners lose, the Peleng side will drop to the second tier for the first time in history.
The team's recent form will not offer much of an inspiration for the travelling fans. Gunners are winless in the last five games. The team last tasted maximum points in November and has endured a 22-game winless run. It is an overwhelming ask for Gunners to get maximum points on the day. There is a glimmer of hope for the Peleng side as they managed to find the net three times in their midweek game against Morupule Wanderers and they will hope to take the scoring run into tomorrow's tie.

Township Rollers will look to continue a good run of form when they take on hoodoo side, Masitaoka at the Lobatse Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon. Gaborone United will travel to the Sam Sono Stadium to take on Nico United knowing any slip could all but hand over the title to Jwaneng Galaxy.
On Sunday afternoon, Eleven Angels and Security Systems will clash at the Francistown Council Stadium. Leaders, Jwaneng Galaxy face stubborn BDF XI at the Lobatse Sports Complex as Holy Ghost take on Sua Flamingoes at the Molepolole Sports Complex. The Otse Stadium will host the tie clash between Police XI and Morupule Wanderers. The games will kick off at 3pm while the evening tie will start at 7pm.
