The duo allegedly pounced on the victim in an attack after they meet him while walking alone in the streets of Serorome ward, Palapye and ended up stabbing him with a sharp object on his stomach and right thigh.

No 2 district officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said investigations into the matter are ongoing to locate the duo and establish their intentions when attacking and stabbing the old man.

“The victim who had sustained serious injuries was rushed to Palapye hospital but he was later referred to Sekgoma Memorial Hospital where he is currently hospitalised,” Oketsang said.
