During her stay in the country, she will crown Miss Supranational Botswana 2023 queen tomorrow at the pageantry’s grand finale at Royal Aria Convention Centre in Tlokweng tomorrow.

When addressing the media and Top 12 finalists at a press briefing at DC Tours in Gaborone, Mswane said within the short period of her stay in the country she was blown away by the humility of Batswana.

Mswane has a mentorship programme for young girls through the Lalela Foundation. She said the foundation is not only aimed at eradicating unemployment amongst the youth, but was also assisting all those who need help despite their social background.

The beauty queen said she had travelled to different countries but had never seen a national event as big as Miss Supranational Botswana, which proved to be big even with prizes to be won. “It is very pleasant to see beautiful, educated black women. I am absolutely blown away. The prizes, I am blown away. They are much better than the national and some international pageantry. I thank you for the warm welcome,” she said. Mswane also said the pageantry was not only about being on stage but also making an impact in other people’s lives.

Miss Supranational pageant is ranked amongst the top five major pageants with a huge following around the world. As a result, her presence at the grand finale would create a great opportunity for Botswana to be seen thus promoting the country and its brand. Tomorrow’s pageantry will be an elegant evening of glitz and glamour as the Top 12 contestants compete for the crown and title. The pageantry’s spokesperson, Kaone Moremong promised that those who will attend the event will witness a never seen production in Botswana.

The new queen’s prizes are worth fighting for amongst the Top 12 as they include a brand new Haval Jolion car, a degree scholarship of her choice from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and a monthly allowance.

The winner will also walk away with a wardrobe valued at P50,000, hair salon services worth P50,000, beauty spa services worth P30,000, medical and health insurance, housing (a house to stay at) for her reign and a management team for her reign. The international pageant is expected to take place on July 15, 2023 in Poland. Moremong further explained that their queen would leave at the end of June to join and compete with queens from almost 100 other countries.
