Grand Palm to start sex talk

Sex is the one topics that is Batswana hardly discuss, but The Grand Palm will be looking to illuminate sex talk through the comedy night event.
The Grand Palm marketing manager, Malebogo Bahakgametse explained that they chosen sex as the agenda item for the comedy night because it is that one thing that plays a vital role in people’s lives.
“Sex is a conversation that lot of married people don’t have time for. For example, two main contributors of divorce in Botswana is sex and money,” Bahakgametse said. Now that sex talk is one of the common impediments to a happy marriage, Bahakgametse stated that they intend on adding humour to it. She says by adding humour to it, it will only be a strategy to make people feel at ease and engage more on sex talk. The event will be headlined by South African comedian, Mashabela.
The comedian is known for focusing on all issues that affect the everyday lives of people particularly issues in marriage hence why they engaged him for that very same reason.
Although comedy in Botswana is relatively struggling, Bahakgametse feels the event will be a success. “Yeah comedy is not really that big in the country, but we expect a good turnout at the comedy night,” Bahakgametse added. Tickets for the event cost P200 each and they can be bought from The Grand Palm hotel reception.
